A day late but happy spring! Olivia and I got to spend the day at my moms and enjoy some fresh air. We brought our pup Theo and he had a play date, it was so much fun and we’re all so wiped out. Hope everyone enjoyed the first day of spring!
18 weeks along!❤️ Olivia is the size of a mango and 6 inches in length🥭This is such a crazy and amazing moment, just seeing how my body is changing to grow this beautiful little girl. She’ll be here before we know it!🤰 No stretch marks and I haven’t felt any movement yet but boy has my sweet tooth kicked in! Nerds have been my biggest craving. 2 more weeks till our next ultra sound! Can’t wait!
A day late but she is the size of a bell pepper! I have been asked a lot if I have felt the flutters yet and unfortunately I haven’t, but we are excited to tell everyone her name is Olivia Jane ❤️Jane was my great grandmothers middle name so I was overjoyed we were able to pass it on to our little girl! Another week closer to meeting you Olivia, mommy and daddy are so excited! ❤️
15 weeks along and little babes is the size of an avocado 🥑so funny because I’ve been thinking the last few days how great some guacamole and avocado toast would be😂 Appetite and energy are up! . . . Monday we will hopefully know the gender. A popular question we’ve been getting lately is what are we hoping for and honestly we just want the baby to be healthy. Many people are hopeful for a boy because the boys are outnumbered. But boy or girl the baby will be so loved! I have noticed myself saying he a lot and I do correct myself and say he or she, some say it’s instinct. So we shall see!
Little babes is another week closer! Haven’t had much cravings this week, probably from being so sick. But the last 2 days have been pretty good to us!
Balsamic chicken! Another easy and delicious dish! In a pan add 2 tablespoons of oil add chicken, salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste. Once cooked add and onion (slices, diced, whatever your preference is ). Cook it only a bit so it keeps that crunch! Finally mix in about 1/8th of a cup of balsamic to the chicken and onions. Serve over rice and enjoy!
Today I am 13 weeks along! My baby is the size of a peach! Symptoms: morning sickness, headaches, always hungry Cravings: kale chips and buffalo chicken dip!
What were your first signs of pregnancy? I had a feeling, I just kinda knew. I took a test a little too soon and it came back negative and about 2 weeks later I realized I was 4 days late so I took 3 more tests and saw it was positive!
Are you drinking coffee? I am a big fan of coffee however it just did not sit well with me so I stopped.
Have you had any cravings? My cravings weren’t big just mostly cheese and everything bagels. For me it was more like I saw a commercial for pizza or burgers or something and wanted that for the day haha.
How and when did you tell your family and friends? The second we got the positive tests we FaceTimed our parents and siblings we didn’t announce it to anyone else till we had our first ultrasound at 8weeks and 4 days.
What symptoms did you have? I’ve had so many symptoms: nausea, vomiting, hunger, exhaustion, headaches, going to the bathroom more, lower back pain, shortness of breath, pretty much everything but heartburn.
Have you noticed a bump yet? I do have a little bump already we noticed it around the 8 week mark.
How are you feeling now? A lot of my symptoms have been settling and the last 2 days I did not notice any symptoms besides hunger.
Tomorrow will be the end of my first trimester. I had a few rough days but overall I really lucked out with my first trimester. Tomorrow I will be posting a Q&A!
